Why a Life Coach
I would like you to take a moment and imagine the feeling of living your life exactly the way you want it to be. Close your eyes and picture it. Where would you be living? What would you be driving? How would your relationships be? What kind of career would you pursue? How much money would you make a year? What would you do for fun? How would you feel spiritually?
Sometimes it’s difficult to think about and realize what we want because we are more focused on what we DON’T want. In doing this, we continuously become faced with road blocks to our success in any or all areas of life. You see, we are whole beings and when we are affected by thoughts and feelings, it is more than one area of life that suffers. For example, if an individual is unhappy with their career it may also affect their productivity which leads to money making. Or, if someone is lacking spirituality, their relationships might not be as fulfilling. In any case, when our lives are not balanced there will surely be a feeling as though something is missing, and one might never be fully satisfied.
Willing to Change
I know all of these things to be true because I lived that life. I was not happy in my career, my money situation was lacking, my relationships suffered in every area of life, and I was genuinely unhappy. I had hit what I called my “rock bottom”. I was fed up, and there was nowhere else to go but to face my own demons. This was the moment that I was officially willing to change. Have you ever reflected on your life and realized that you needed a change? Have you ever been willing to live better than you have been living?
When going through my transformation, I made the choice to invest in myself and my own evolution. During this time, I studied countless books, programs, articles, blogs, webinars, gurus, and the greatest men and woman in history. I quite literally coached myself out of my trials and tribulations. I knew where I was and formed a clear picture of where I wanted to be. That road was about two and a half years long but well worth the wait. After compiling all of the information learned from my studies and moving forward with my goals and dreams, I decided to move to Loveland, Colorado to make a career change into life coaching. I knew that was the best way to share my knowledge and help others move smoothly through their life struggles and transitions.
You may be thinking to yourself, “Why would I need a life coach?”. Well let me ask you these questions:
- Do you feel stressed and unbalanced in your life?
- Are you are struggling to form quality relationships?
- Are you are feeling “burned out”?
- Do you need help and guidance in goal setting?
- Are you are facing similar problems in more than one area of your life?
- Would you like to make a life change but do not know how?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, life and/or transition coaching may be for you. Allow me to explain. When going through life, we all need balance. This means that we should be giving an equal or balanced amount of time and energy to our health, career, finances, spirituality, relationships, personal environment, and fun/recreation! Often times though, a little thing called life gets in the way. Unfortunately, this is where goals and dreams get put on the back burner only to leave people going through their usual day to day motions and never feeling fulfilled or truly happy. Have you ever felt this way?
No need to worry because coaching provides the support that is needed when transitioning to the highest most powerful version of oneself, and the sought out guidance that allows individuals to live up to their fullest potential. As a coach, my personal mission is to educate, inspire, and empower others to live up to their fullest potential. I am able to accomplish these goals by engaging and supporting others through their continued journey of self discovery. Coaching challenges an individuals thoughts and, in turn, drives them to challenge themselves. It provides guidance and insight to help them achieve their desired results. Ultimately, a coach listens as the client determines their ideal life situation, and together they set goals, acknowledge and work through obstacles, and discover solutions. What can be expected of a coach is listening, asking questions, giving honest feedback, and holding the client accountable. As this process unfolds, and the client becomes more empowered, their desired results come to surface and they are then living the life they have always dreamed of living.
Imagine living the life you were meant to live. Now, make that dream a reality!
