Most of my clients come seeking results of some kind. The truth, if we boiled it down is that each one is seeking more happiness and more success. The results that they are seeking, ultimately is the path they see to more happiness and more success.
How about you? In this short video Shawn gives a recipe toward increased happiness and increased long term success. Will you make the commitment, to accelerate your own results, of 10 minutes each day for 21 days?
I know this seems so easy. How can it create accelerated results in so many areas? Perspective. Gardening. Mind Gardening that is. You may have heard the garden metaphor for the mind. This metaphor works because it indicates the need for growth, maintenance and ongoing cultivation.
When you start to consciously cultivate your own mind garden, you will truly be amazed at the changes which begin to happen in your life. Obstacles disappear, limiting beliefs & barriers fall away, and things that you once thought were either impossible or very far away will suddenly come into clear view.
The exercises Shawn suggests for 21 days will give you a proper start. You wouldn’t plant a garden without first weeding, tilling the soil and choosing the plants. Well developing your goals requires the same kind of daily maintenance and nurturing. Let’s start here.
- Get yourself a journal. Your journal will serve several purposes throughout our coaching and long afterwards.
- Starting today, write down 3 things you are grateful for. Write 3 gratitudes daily.
- Exercise. Be intentional about exercising today.
- Plan at least 5 minutes of thinking time or meditation.
- Random Acts of Kindness. Again, be intentional. Smile. Pick up trash. Hold doors for others.
Write the things down each day. Keep track. 21 days straight.
Now is when questions arise. Well what if I’m getting ready to take a trip? What if I miss a day? What if I forget my journal? I don’t have the time for this! (Fill in your own question here).
STOP! Do you recognize how many weeds are already filling your beautiful garden? We haven’t even begun and your brain is already looking at the negative. So let me help:
21 days straight. No exception. Make this a priority.
It is OK if you miss a day. Start again with a higher level of commitment. (21 days straight).
This isn’t about me. This is about YOU! This is about developing the habits, the honesty, the commitment and the perspective that will create success in your life. Don’t cheat yourself.
I am here as a resource for you. If you need help, learn to ask for help. Learn that you do not have to go through anything alone.
I’m proud of you for taking the first steps toward the New You! I’m honored that you are allowing me to take this journey with you!
